Abimbola and Eluemuno got married last December at the Ritz Carlton in Dubai. The wedding was planned by Save The Date Event company based in UAE.
According to their planner:
Initially they wanted to have a cozy and intimate wedding for their families and friends. Dubai was thoughtfully chosen as the most convenient place for both sides, as bride Abimbola resides in the United States, while Eluemuno was still based in Lagos. The guests were coming to attend their wedding from USA, Nigeria and England.
We very soon agreed on the venue, which was reflecting couple’s ideal vision. Ritz Carlton Dubai was chosen for blessing ceremony as well as a reception.
It was indeed a magical ambiance. Second half of December, when the air is filled with the Christmas spirit. Hotels in Dubai go full on with the Christmas decoration, so the things looked glitter and wonderful. To incorporate the same trend in their wedding décor, gold, white and red were chosen as theme colors.
Blessing ceremony began at 4 p.m at the Garden Lawn, one of the loveliest venues in Dubai. The main accent was an arch decorated with white and red roses and golden chandelier was adding up just enough of shimmer to the whole set up. We also used white petals for the isle walk.
Blessing ceremony was conducted by the Pastor Enafaa, who was a very dear friend of a couple and flew all the way from Orlando, USA.
After guests gathered for the blessing ceremony, and groom stood impatiently waiting for his bride, she appeared with beautiful bouquet of fresh orchid blooms, accompanied by her several bridesmaids, all wearing red to match the bridal bouquet.
The couple used “Thousand Years” as their isle walk song. The priest conducted very sweet and emotional blessing ceremony, and by the end of it few tears were dropped ☺
Guests were served range of fruit cocktails and juices and got engaged into the wedding photo shoot.
Afterwards everyone proceeded to the wedding reception, which took place at the hotel’s ballroom. The ballroom was decorated with loads of candle and mood lights. Centerpieces were made of red roses and orchids.
The best part of the wedding was the song written and performed by the groom for his beloved.
Later on the couple wore their traditional outfits. The MC, bride’s best friend from America, was engaging the guests into sweet memories and good laugh. Everybody danced till midnight and enjoyed this beautiful and happy day.
