Nigerian Wedding: “I thought I had a crush on him” READ Adejoke & Abdul-Azeez’s Beautiful Love Story

How much more classy can a couple be? We shared Joke & Azeez’s glamorous pre-wedding shoot with you all yesterday. And today, we have some more photos from their e-session courtesy of Spicy Inc Studio.

From the photographer:

The couple grew up to know each other because of the love and friendship between their two mothers. What stemmed from mere admiration and crush will soon end into a pure marital bliss. Remember Adejoke and Azeez from their love portraits and their introduction ceremony?

We got together this time to photograph their pre-wedding engagement session. It was fun, fun, fun. It was always a great joy photographing these two because they just made it so easy. I love the way Joke giggles and glows and the smile in Azeez’s face when he looks at her. Something indescribable! Their chemistry is pure bliss. Enjoy!

Read their love story below….

Our mothers are very close friends, but Azeez and I were never close, we barely talked. It all started on My mum’s birthday, which falls on a Monday, and then we had a small party in the house , we had the big party on Friday. I saw him that day, but we barely uttered a word to each other.

He came during the week to collect his invite for the Friday party. It was at night so he came into my room (I was shocked lol) and we just spoke briefly about the upcoming party. I was very shy because I thought I had a crush on him. I saw him again on Friday, but was very busy attending to guests, I finally got to rest around 2am when he came to me and asked if I want to hang out a bit elsewhere. So we went to Sip Bar… And that’s where our love story begins.

Though we kept our relationship a secret for a long time because we want to be sure about each other without the family’s interference. I was still scared because I felt my Mum might not like the idea because she is really close to his mum.

But it’s been an amazing time growing to love each other.

Nigerian wedding wishes Joke & Azeez a blessed union! We cannot wait to see photos from their wedding. Congratulations once again!
